Encourage ministries is a Christian charity who partner with local ministries/charities in Uganda to provide spiritual support as well as some physical needs.
We travel to Uganda twice a year where we take a group of people to share the gospel in numerous situations. We go to encourage pastors and equip them as most do not have any formal training. We visit schools, prisons, widows & orphans, teenage mums, hospitals, refugee settlements and education projects. With all of these, we connect with their local churches so there is continuation of support after we leave. Most of the different projects we visit, are repeated on various trips so we can grow in relationships and build on the work they have started and that we contribute to.
When we are back in the UK we have regular prayer times with our partners in Uganda, raise funds to enable their work to continue in both their physical and spiritual needs.

Our Team
Peter Ashburner: PICTURE Peter is a preacher, teacher with a powerful healing ministry with 40 years experience with a heart to see people to come to know and experience the reality of God and complete freedom in Jesus in body soul and spirit. He has fulfilled a number of leadership roles in churches and is a National Director of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship uk and member of Good News For Everyone. He has spoken at several conferences and seminars and regularly prays for the sick. He lives in the Cotswolds and is married to Angie. He travels extensively overseas and in UK.

Jo Wallwork: PICTURE Jo has been on the leadership team of a fresh expression church plant for a number of years and is strong pastorally and has extensive experience in admin and supportive leadership. Jo is a committed Christian and loves Jesus. She has been married to Andy for over 30 years and has two adult sons. She has been to Uganda a number of times on mission and sharing her testimony to give Hope and share the Love of Jesus.
