Pastor Joseph’s ministry at the Kamuli Education Project is a powerful example of faith in action. Raised in a small village, he sensed God’s call to serve his community from a young age. Despite living with physical disabilities, Pastor Joseph refused to let limitations define his calling. Instead, he chose to serve wholeheartedly, trusting God to use his life for His glory.
As a chaplain at the Kamuli Education Project, Pastor Joseph provides spiritual guidance and pastoral care to young people and teenage mothers. Through daily interactions, Bible teaching, and prayer, he helps students understand how faith in Christ can sustain them through hardship and give them hope for the future.
With the support of Encourage Ministries, Pastor Joseph organises youth camps, mentorship programmes, and community service initiatives that nurture both spiritual growth and leadership skills. His teaching style is deeply personal and relatable—he openly shares his own testimony and creates safe spaces for young people to discuss faith, struggles, and life decisions.
One of his most impactful initiatives is a peer mentorship programme, pairing older students with younger ones. This has strengthened relationships, built confidence, and fostered a strong sense of community. Many participants have shared how the programme has deepened their faith and inspired them to pursue education and meaningful goals.
Beyond the Kamuli Education Project, Pastor Joseph and his wife founded Ben Yahweh Primary School, which provides education to children with disabilities, offering dignity, inclusion, and opportunity to families often left behind.
Encourage Ministries also supports biannual Pastors’ Conferences organised by Pastor Joseph, equipping youth pastors across Kamuli District with training, encouragement, and fellowship. Through his faithful service, Pastor Joseph continues to shape lives, point young people to Christ, and build a legacy that will impact generations to come.
